Prior to using the cariPRO Ultrasonic electric toothbrush, I was using a cheap electric toothbrush I had purchased while traveling from a 7Eleven store. Nothing special about that toothbrush or any other basic plastic toothbrush that I’d used prior. 2 interchangeable heads – The super soft bristles are great for people with sensitive gums and teeth. *The most sustainable toothbrushes on the market are made from bamboo, but they can be quite uncomfortable. The last time I used a bamboo toothbrush, the friction from the wood left the corners of my mouth raw. Electric toothbrushes with interchangeable heads are a little more sustainable than your everyday regular toothbrush because you are only disposing of the head of the toothbrush.
Rechargeable Toothbrush Body featuring 5 cleaning styles – This lightweight body is smooth to touch and the buttons make it easy to navigate between styles.
Charging Mount – I LOVE how small and portable the mount is.
5 Cleaning Styles – This is perhaps one of the coolest features of the cariPRO Ultrasonic electric toothbrush.
- Clean is one of the most powerful settings. I use this most often because I feel I need that extra love to get the plaque off.
- White is a little more intense than the clean setting. I notice that on this setting, the middle bristles offer a more intense cleaning and whitening experience.
- Massage is great for those who want to show their gums a little love. It offers quick pulses to give your mouth a massaging feel while brushing.
- Gum Care is exactly what it sounds like. The short pulses give your gums a good cleaning with the vertical movement of the bristles.
- Sensitive is a toned down cleaning setting. I rarely used this setting as my teeth and gums are not sensitive.
Vibrating Timer – Smile Brilliant recommends brushing your teeth in quadrants. The built-in timer vibrates every 30 seconds until you have completed brushing each quadrant. Similar to the Clarisonic facial cleansing brush.
Why It Makes A Great Holiday Gift

By far my favorite feature of this electronic toothbrush is the charge. The charge lasts for 30 days and after two weeks of twice daily usage, I only have one complaint. The bristles are softer than what I am used to which makes it difficult to brush the plaque off tricky areas of my teeth (my teeth are not straight and it can cause issues when trying to get them squeaky clean).
